Dan Gaken : CMU Leadership Director – Core Values

Dan Gaken is the director of Central Michigan University’s Sarah Opperman Leadership Institute – and is also one of the most impactful role models in Jon Reusch’s own life. Dan runs an awesome exercise at CMU that helps leaders identify their core values (more on that to come in future Forward Focused episodes). The exercise was inspired by Rushworth Kidder’s book, “How Good People Make Tough Choices,” which I encourage you to read as you start thinking of your own guiding principles.
